<b>Second dose.</b> Only children who meet <b>high-risk</b> criteria should receive >1 dose of nirsevimab: 1 dose in their 1st RSV season and 1 dose in their 2nd RSV season. Healthy newborns born at the end of RSV season who received nirsevimab around the time of delivery (1st RSV season) shouldn’t receive a 2nd dose entering their 2nd season even if they’re <8 mo; conversely, healthy infants born at the end of their 1st RSV season who did NOT receive nirsevimab and are <8 mo entering their 2nd RSV season may receive 1 dose of nirsevimab. “High risk” includes:<br>
&nbsp;◦ Chronic lung dz of prematurity requiring chronic corticosteroid tx, diuretic tx, or supplemental O<sub>2</sub> ≤6mo before the start of the 2nd RSV season<br>
&nbsp;◦ Severely immunocompromised<br>
&nbsp;◦ Cystic fibrosis w/ manifestations of severe lung dz (previous hospitalization for pulmonary exacerbation in the 1st year of life or abnormalities on chest imaging that persist when stable) or have wt-for-length that is <10th percentile<br>
