<b>Post-COVID cognitive fatigue<sup>1</sup> and cognitive dysfunction (e.g., “brain fog” affecting processing speed, exec. function, etc.<sup>2</sup>) etiology unknown, likely multifactorial; may overlap w/ mood disorders, physical fatigue. Sx may include post-exertional malaise (worsening of sx following even minor physical/mental exertion, typically 12-48h after activity and lasting for days or even weeks<sup>3</sup>), similar to ME/CFS.<sup>4</sup> Lack of abnl labs/imaging doesn’t invalidate sx. Initiate sx mgmt and a comprehensive rehab simultaneously w/ eval/lab testing in most pts.<sup>3</sup></b>
